Sustainability
I can definitely save money on hair products now, I haven’t got my hair done or nails done in a WHILE and I’ve learned I can save a lot just doing it myself. Keeping with the day time charging of electronics.
Following
People have made a big point to limit electricity and water usage. I think we’re doing good !

Try Harder Tuesday
Consumption -
Water – 15 minutes in the shower, brushed my teeth, drank from BLS water fountain, washed my hands twice after High fiving every junior girl at powder puff game…
Food – No breakfast, school lunch, pancakes, grilled cheese sandwich… pinkberry.
Electricity – No texting for the majority of the day ! only computer usage is this right now, turned on quite a few lights when I got home because my house is terrifying when it’s empty and dark… but I turned them all right back off after I checked everything ( safety first )
Gasoline – Got a ride to school from mattapan, walked to ruggles on my way home, train ( if they use gas..) and bus.
$$Money$$ - No Money spent.
2. Reduction - I took a shorter shower, I walked to Ruggles instead of taking the bus, didn’t get my nails done, didn’t eat any type of meat, tried not to text as much.. and that’s about it.
3. Sustainability -
I can get used to taking shorter showers, it’s not that bad. I have stopped sleeping with my music playing the whole night, it uses a lot of energy and I can’t hear music in my sleep. My father has decided to turn the heat off at night… apparently you can’t feel cold in your sleep either. So that cuts back also.
4. Following - I learned that people have been cutting back on shower time more than anything else I noted.. I think that’s cool and I’m sure our parents appreciate it.
